For the first time in more then 100 years, President Obama has sought to marginalize the historical relationship between the presidency and the Boy Scouts of America. President

DC Gay Marriage law forces Catholic Adoption agency to close
The concept of homosexual marriage is radical in of itself but actually enacting a radical change to public policy has radical consequences. Its not about equality nor is it about discrimination, it is about raw power. It is the power to silence those in the public arena and dictate their false concept of morality. The true morality is our inherent right of liberty given by our creator. Our founders recognized that all of our rights flow from the first freedom, the right of religious liberty. This is the freedom that guarantees all of the others. Losing your freedom has consequences.

Homosexual marriage 0 for 4?
Proponents of gay marriage have suffered another defeat in their efforts to legalize gay marriage. The New Jersey Senate rejected a bill legalizing gay marriage 20-14. This comes on top of a loss in New York where the NY Senate voted down gay marriage and in November when Maine voters repealed a gay marriage law. Opponents have now turned their attention to Washington D.C. which just legalized gay marriage and where the D.C. Council rejected a referendum to overturn the law. The DC council has refused to allow the referendum citing a violation of the DC Human Rights Law. A lawsuit was filed to overturn the council's action and to place a referendum on the ballot. Experts agree that the DC Council does not have the legal authority to block the referendum. Currently, Congress has 30 days to review the law legalizing gay marriage and can block the law. Congress has declined to take any action and the President has made it clear that he will not intervene based on his support for gay marriage. Even so, the People will ultimately have the choice when the matter is placed on the ballot. Considering voters never legalized gay marriage 30 out of 30 times, the odds are on the side of those who support traditional marriage.

A new report is raising alarms that the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network, a homosexual advocacy organization founded by Kevin Jennings, now head of the U.S. Office of Safe Schools for the Obama administration, is recommending XXX-rated sex writings for children as young as preschoolers.
"We were unprepared for what we encountered. Book after book after book contained stories and anecdotes that weren't merely X-rated and pornographic, but which featured explicit descriptions of sex acts between preschoolers; stories that seemed to promote and recommend child-adult sexual relationships; stories of public masturbation, anal sex in restrooms, affairs between students and teachers, five-year-olds playing sex games, semen flying through the air," said the report.
"One memoir even praised becoming a prostitute as a way to increase one's self-esteem. Above all, the books seemed to have less to do with promoting tolerance than with an unabashed attempt to indoctrinate students into a hyper-sexualized worldview," it advised.
The report was posted online by Jim Hoft at the Gatetway Pundit blog after it was obtained from Breitbart.tv co-founder Scott Baker, who said the recommended children's reading assignments need attention.
The team whose members assembled the report said a handful of books from the more than 100 titles on GLSEN's recommended reading list for school children were picked randomly. Writings were reviewed with titles such as "Queer 13," "Being Different," "The Full Spectrum," "Revolutionary Voices," "Reflections of a Rock Lobster," "Passages of Pride," "Growing Up Gay/Growing Up Lesbian," "The Order of the Poison Oak," "In Your Face," "Mama's Boy, Preacher's Son" and "Love & Sex: Ten Stories of Truth."
"What we discovered shocked us. We were flabbergasted. Rendered speechless," the report said.
"Read the passages and judge for yourself The language is explicit, the intent is clear," the report said

New York Senate Says No to Gay Marriage
Earlier this month, the Senate dealt a decisive blow to Governor Paterson and proponents of homosexual marriage by voting 38 to 24 against legalizing homosexual marriage in New York. The Nassau County Civic Association worked with various groups statewide in an effort to defeat the bill. Prior to the vote, our vote count indicated 36 No votes, 21 Yes votes and five undecided. The additional No votes were not a surprise but were certainly welcome. Unfortunately, Long Island Senators Craig Johnson (D-Port Washington) and Brian Foley (D-Brookhaven) voted Yes. We will continue our efforts to defend marriage consistent with our "Marriage and Gender " Initiative. To see how your Senator voted, Click here.

UPDATE: PRESIDENT'S CZAR INSPIRED BY MAN-BOY SEX ACTIVIST
President Obama's "Safe School Czar" while speaking before a GLESEN conference in NYC back in 1997 made the following statement one of the people that always inspired me is Harry Hay. Mr. Hay who was a member of the communist party strongly advocated pedophilia and promoted the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA). During a 1983 New York University forum sponsored by a gay campus organization, Mr. Hay stated the following; "I also would like to say at this point that it seems to me that in the gay community the people who should be running interference for NAMBLA are the parents and friends of gays. Because if the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what thirteen-, fourteen-, and fifteen-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world. And they would be welcoming this, and welcoming the opportunity for young gay kids to have the kind of experience that they would need." Please contact your congressional representative to request congressional hearings surrounding the appointment of Kevin Jennings, his role at the Department of Education and Secretary Arne Duncan who has voiced support for Mr. Jennings. Do it for the sake of America's children.

President's School Safety Czar Encouraged Man-Boy Sex
Founder and Executive Director of GLESEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network), Kevin Jennings who was appointed as President Obama's "Safe School Czar' was caught on audio tape discussing his effort to encourage a 15 year old boy to continue a sexual relationship with an "older man" he met in a "bus station bathroom". The audio tape is from Mr. Jennings appearance before the Iowa Chapter of GLESEN in 2000. GLESEN is a advocacy group that encourages homosexuality in schools. Mr. Jennings who was a teacher at the time not only encouraged the sexual relationship to continue, failed to report it to authorities. GLESEN is no stranger to
controversy. In 2000, the group sponsored an AIDS prevention workshop in which state employees discussed graphic homosexual sexual practices with 12 and 13 years olds. The question is simple, when will he be fired? How can an individual be appointed to oversee school safety when he actively promoted a unsafe and predatory sexual relationship of a child?? for the storyJune 23, 2009

June 27, 2009
UPDATE: The Governor has now withdrawn his homosexual marriage bill. While this is a victory, it is a temporary one. Please don't let your guard down. Please keep the pressure on our state Senators. We will continue our effort to inform voters on this effort to radically alter the definition of marriage.

S
TAND UP for Marriage! Will the NY Senate pass Gay marriage?
Even though Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith indicated that he would not bring the homosexual marriage bill to a vote as he lacks the votes to pass it, the Senate has a history of passing controversial bills at the end of the legislative session. With more then three weeks left in the session which ends on June 22nd, it would be prudent to remain vigilant as those who support re-defining marriage will pull out all the stops to pass this radical bill. The Nassau County Civic Association will continue to work to support marriage as the union of one man and one woman and will inform the public of those legislators who have already voted in favor of the bill (Assembly) and those who have publicly endorsed the bill (Senate). Together we can protect marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

UPDATE: Senate to Block Vote
Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith announced that the Senate will not take up the Governor's bill to legalize homosexual marriage. While Malcolm Smith has indicated his support of the bill, it is apparent that he doesn't have the votes to pass the Governor's bill. The Nassau County Civic Association has counted the votes in the Senate. Currently, 36 Senators are opposed, five undecided and 21 in favor. Malcolm Smith would be better served by looking to the People of his district for guidance. Only 33% of his district support the bill and his own church is opposed. The recent Sienna Poll claiming more then 50% support for the Governor's bill is flawed. The sample of 639 is too small of a sample and does not accurately measure the twenty million residents of New York. The consistent average of the numerous polls taken show about one third support for Homosexual marriage. A prior poll indicated an increase in support for homosexual marriage by 6% to 41% but factoring in the margin of error, there is no significant change in public opinion. We applaud the Majority Leader's decision to exercise common sense and focus on the issues that matter most to all New Yorkers, our economy.

Governor Patterson to Spearhead Gay marriage Bill
Governor Patterson has announced his plan to introduce legislation to legalize homosexual marriage in New York. Even though the bill faces strong opposition in the New York Senate, the Governor believes that it's one of the most important issues facing New York residents. "The timing was always right. It's just who is willing to take that step, and I am," Paterson said. Considering his recent $8 billion dollar tax increase and $10 billion dollar spending spree during the current recession, its apparent that the Governor is out of touch with New York's working families. Considering his 19% job approval rating and 78% disapproval rating, the Governor is hardly in a position to spearhead a radical and controversial bill through the New York legislature. It would be prudent for Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith and Assembly Leader Shelly Silver to consider the long term fiscal and political ramifications of their budget deal with Governor Patterson instead of unnecessarily wading into another divisive issue with an uncertain outcome.

Controversy over "comprehensive sex education"
The New York State Senate is
considering a comprehensive sex education bill called
the Healthy Teens Act (S1342
Winner/A2856 Gottfried). There is nothing healthy about this bill. Currently,
New York requires sex education and AIDS education for school age children. This
bill is being pushed by Planned Parenthood which has a history of promoting all
forms of sexual activity thus comprehensive sex education. The topic guidelines
recommended by SIECUS (the foremost national advocate for comprehensive sex
education) include masturbation, sexual intercourse, cohabitation, oral and anal
sex and homosexuality. Other forms of "sexual expression" are also included.
Perhaps the Senators should research the now infamous
Rainbow Curriculum
which was exposed in the 1990s for its extremism. A recent effort
by the Fonda-Fultonville school district
to introduce the
Planned
Parenthood sex education plan has been heavily criticized by parents due to
the age inappropriate subject matter and the effort to keep the subject matter
from parents.

The House of Representatives passes bill to "protect" sexual conduct whether actual or perceived.
Today the US House voted to 235-184 to include sexual orientation in federal law banning discrimination in employment. The bill entitled, The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA)
include the terms "actual or perceived". The proposed law has no provision to exempt commercial entities run by churches, religious groups or other faith based programs. The backers of the bill fought to include "gender identity", "gender expression" actual or perceived but removed the provision to get the votes to pass this bill. Backers of the bill claim that this is the first step to include all forms of sexual expression and conduct on the sexual continuum. The White has promised to veto the bill as it tramples religious liberty, is overly vague and gives federal recognition to legal benefits granted to homosexual couples under state law. to see the "Statement of White House Policy".March 8, 2007

UPDATE:
On Tuesday, February 20th, Merck announced that they will cease their marketing campaign to mandate the use of Gardasil. A NYS Board of Election report filed by Assembly member Amy Paulin discloses a contribution from Merck.February 12, 2007
The State Over-reaches: An effort is underway in the NY State legislature to draft legislation mandating all school age females be vaccinated with Gardasil. This vaccination which was found to reduce the risk of cervical cancer caused by the sexually transmitted human papillomavirus (HPV) will be required for attendance. Gardasil is manufactured by Merck which began a marketing campaign in twenty states to mandate its use. As this vaccination has nothing to do with preventing the spread of communicable diseases within the school setting, the effort to require its use is an over reach by the state with the assumptive belief that government always knows best versus that of parents. Assembly member, Amy Paulin (D-Scarsdale) vowed to sponsor this legislation in the Assembly. Contact your legislator to ensure that any effort to promote the use of this vaccination be on a voluntary basis.
