Our featured speaker was Bruce Bent. Mr. Bent, founder of the Reserve Fund - the first mutual fund company -- is an innovative financial manager, guiding one of the largest investment firms in New York City.  He was the Republican/Conservative candidate for Nassau County Executive in the 2001 election and has continued to speak out on public policy issues, the budget process, spending priorities, fiscal reform and the high level of taxes borne by Nassau residents.

Mr. Bent addressed these subjects and presented alternatives for Nassau residents to consider.
